הישוב החרדי מיצד (אספר), שבתחומי המועצה האזורית גוש עציון,
מציע את כל היופי שבחיי קהילה תורניים במקום אחד ומעניק לתושביו הזדמנות להתרחק משאון העיר וליהנות מאיכות חיים, אויר משיב נפש מהרי ירושלים ונוף עוצר נשימה. בשילוב עם חיים תורניים ישיבתיים ואוירה חינוכית ייחודית.

ביישוב גרים כ180 משפחות עם ילדים במגוון הגילאים
המשפחות המתגוררות בישוב הן משפחות בוגרי ישיבות בני תורה המגדלות את ילדיהם על פי רוח ישראל סבא.
